In years 10 and 11, the learning program is based on a series of unique, interdisciplinary subjects called Central Studies. Developed by the ASMS, each Central Study has a solid underlying theme and then individual subjects are strategically woven together to bring this theme to life.

What will I learn?
You will learn about how a team of interdisciplinary staff can collaborate to design units of student learning that builds skills and understandings across multiple subject disciplines.
Workshop participants will have opportunities to network with their colleagues throughout the day and share their learning with each other.
Leaders will have opportunities to learn how to build teams of interdisciplinary staff; how to timetable and use a variety of team-teaching models to implement multi-subject themed units.
Teachers will have opportunities to learn how collaborate to design units of student learning that builds skills and understandings across multiple subject disciplines.
Teams will have opportunities to observe the ASMS in action, on-the-floor, as the interdisciplinary teams are teaching together, supporting students together, implementing multi-subject Central Studies.
