Host a Student

Did you know there are many benefits to being and ASMS Homestay Family?  

At the ASMS we pride ourselves on our commitment to providing educational learning experiences for not only our own students but for interstate and international students too. As part of this commitment, the ASMS, in conjunction with International Education Services SA, hosts Study Tours for international school students and teachers, providing them with a learning experience in South Australia. Part of the beneficial Australian experience visiting students receive is a placement in homestay accommodation from within our ASMS community.

Not only do you get to open your home to an international student for them to experience Australian day to day life, but your family will have the opportunity to build lifelong connections and learn more about the world around us.  

As a homestay family you will have the opportunity to not only show off the wonderful things that make Australia and South Australia unique, but you will also have the chance to learn about your homestay student’s culture too!   

Study tour homestay families can receive reimbursement to support their student while they are here which also allows spending money for the whole family to explore our beautiful region together! 

Reimbursement does not apply to exchange homestay experiences, as they are reciprocal for when our students visit these schools in return.
