Today the students and staff of the ASMS came together for International Women’s Day to raise funds to fast-track gender equality.
The young people of the ASMS had the initiative to host a pancake fundraiser to raise essential funds for UN Women Australia. Throughout the day, our students completed activities that asked them to reflect on important female figures in their lives and throughout history, as well as how we can innovate as a society to create an equitable future for all.
Our students also asked the cohort to wear pink to raise awareness of gender-coded colours to help to break these stigmas and stereotypes in our society.
Thank you to our team of students and staff who worked so hard to organise these events and activities.
