On 10 March, a group of ASMS students attended the annual International Women’s Day Breakfast at the Adelaide Convention Centre, hosted by Senator Penny Wong and with guest speaker, Ambassador Caroline Kennedy.
It was incredibly inspiring for our students to hear about the future of women’s equality, the progress that is yet to be made, as well as the importance of ensuring young women are involved in STEM education.
Our students Kristina, Carmela, Zia, Hazel, Shreeza, Charli, Jameela, and Becky also had the pleasure of meeting SA Premier, Peter Malinauskas at this wonderful occasion.
