Order from Chaos – Divisive or Decisive?

In Order from Chaos, students are exploring the Big Idea of Divisive or Decisive?

This Big Idea encompasses the concepts of rights and freedoms and political and social systems of varying groups and cultures, comparing these to one another. As part of this, students are learning to communicate their thoughts using persuasive language features and psychological understandings in order to convince an audience of their viewpoint.

To add depth and gravitas to their arguments, this includes accessing, analysing and comparing data sets statistically, which is incorporated into the persuasive speech around their selected societal issue.
