In Dream Design, Develop (DDD) students have been learning about a range of recent science innovations, their application to future careers and the associated issues or influences from society.
This is culminating in a documentary analysis where students describe the features and conventions of their chosen documentary and connect these to the audience, purpose and context. It has been great seeing the range of documentaries chosen and the care in which students are crafting the development of their response.
The next unit will be a big one, we will largely be handing the choice of WHAT and HOW students learn over to them and supporting their choice. Lots of opportunity and agency here!
