The Australian Defence Force (ADF) Recruiting Centre hosted a Leadership Day for future female leaders, and the ASMS Community were provided with the opportunity to extend an invitation to two female students from our school who identify as having great leadership qualities or potential.
On the day, the format of the conference included presentations, workshops and group activities focusing on values, communication, positive thinking, planning and resilience. As representatives of the ASMS on this occasion, we were introduced to Maritime Warfare Officer Lisa L. Nelson, Army Driver Lovett and Medic Amber Alexander, who all provided us with information about ADF Pathways, along with their services as ADF Members.
Interacting and learning about the roles of leadership with other participants from different schools was a true experience that wouldn’t have been possible without Richard Greig who so kindly supported our interests to attend.
