Term 3 Enrichment Update

Young Women in STEM excursion Wk 10, Term 2 (4th July)

In Week 10 a group of Year 10 & 11 students attended the Young Women in STEM workshop at Adelaide University. Students took a deep dive into many STEM fields with hands on activities. The students exercised their problem-solving skills by calculating hearing ranges of different species & building working stethoscopes (Veterinary Sciences). They engineered the strongest crane (Civil Engineering) and experimented with shapes and trigonometry in a maths challenge. The students enjoyed interacting with students from other schools across the state and ask questions about a number of STEM related pathways. What a blast!
