In Terra Knowing our students have delved into the fascinating world of soil science! They explored the physical and chemical properties of soil and studied how agricultural and indigenous land management practices impact soil health.
Using new Vernier equipment, including carbon dioxide, conductivity, pH, and temperature probes, the students rotated through experimental stations. They collected and analysed data to identify and solve problems at specific locations. It’s been an exciting week of hands-on learning and discovery!
