Student Achievement Updates

It has come to that time of the year that we acknowledge some of the outstanding achievement of our students in various areas.

Order of Australian Association: Student Citizenship Awards – Riley Day and Lillian Woodcroffe have been recognised for their outstanding contribution to their local community and school being the recipients of  and awarded a certificate. Riley has also been recognised with a plague and invited to Government House for the presentation ceremony for being in the top 10 in South Australia and in the running for the overall statewide winner. We congratulate them both and are wishing Riley well in the final stages of this award.

Oliphant Science Awards – Jan Naseer Kaur Banvet won for her submission of a Scientific Poster in her age category.

Debating SA – While we should acknowledge everyone involved for their efforts in this year’s competition, praise must go to the senior team that lost a close semi-final to the eventual winner. While there was many outstanding performances, Ella Goulding has been recognised for her achievement by being invited to the state trials to continue to develop her high level skills.
