On Friday of Week 3, our Year 10 & 11 cohort attended the Flinders University Engineering Expo at Tonsley.
This expo gave our students the opportunity to watch 3rd and 4th year university students’ STEM presentations on topics across the fields of Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Game Development, Mathematics, Robotics, IT and Software Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Cyber Security, and more.
They were also able to engage with the presentations by asking questions about the projects, and passing along feedback to the presenters, which was an excellent learning experience for all.
It was fantastic for our young people to learn how Flinders students are using their engineering skills for real life projects, while gaining inspiration for their own future STEM projects.
