In the final weeks of Truth and Perception we have been analysing whether a variety of media perspectives are trying to persuade us with ‘truth or deception’.
From understanding the psychology of why humans may stretch the truth, to looking at the stylistic language used in advertisements / political speeches / web articles / etc, we are all now a bit more aware of what the purposes of media can be.
Students are choosing a fantastic variety of texts to analyse, so ask your young person which topic they chose for their final English assessment of 2022!
