The lovely summer weather that we are currently experiencing made our Year 12 Seminar Day, held at the Brighton Seacliff Yacht Club last Friday, an extremely pleasant change of pace.
With the calm waters of St Vincent Gulf as a backdrop, students heard from alumni, workshopped a range of factors to assist in maintaining a productive but balanced approach to Year 12 and reflected on their own goals for the year. A number of activities also focussed on students making connections with others who share classes with them.
Seminar Day is viewed as a valuable way to build a sense of belonging and connection amongst our Year 12s, both of these factors having a strong role in maintaining student wellbeing during Year 12.
