Monarto Safari Park was the next stop on the schedule for ASMS Field Trip Week.
This excursion connects to our students’ studies over the semester in Biodiversity and was the ideal destination to learn more about the importance of conservation.
The ASMS group toured the park to observe the behaviour of the giraffes, zebras, chimpanzees, rhinos and also got to see the adorable lion cubs who are now out and about in the main exhibit.
They were also able to contribute to the conservation efforts in the park, providing a helping hand to the staff by removing harmful weeds from the white rhino area.
