Flight Training for Stage 2 Aviation

Our Aviation Studies Stage 2 students are off to a flying start for the term, by beginning their flight training last Saturday at Command Flight Training at Parafield Airport.

For our students, this was their first time flying, so it was an exciting opportunity to put their skills to the test! Lucky for them, the weather outside was perfect with clear blue skies on the day. Our students were led by our Aviation Studies teacher, David Yanni, who instructed the students on how to pre-flight, taxi, take-off and operate for air work (training) in the western training area located north of St Kilda.

It was a wonderful experience for our students and brought them one step closer to obtaining their CASA recreational pilot licence.

For external students who are interested, places are still available for enrolment in 2023.
