Harmony Week is a time for everyone in our ASMS community to stand up to bullying, and further encourage inclusiveness, respect, and a sense of belonging for all.
At the ASMS, we are lucky to have a diverse cohort of students and staff, which includes our Year 12 Health students who had the initiative to organise a series of activities to acknowledge Harmony Week and raise awareness for the National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence. The ASMS cohort were asked to wear purple or orange to show their support, and could also participate in educational games and activities, experience world music, receive a traditional henna tattoo, or learn a new language.
Our students also organised a colour run to promote inclusivity while paying homage to the ancient Hindu festival of Holi.
