On Friday 1 August, ten of our students represented the Australian Science and Mathematics School at Government House for their Winter Conversations event.
Hosted by Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, Governor of South Australia, this occasion featured Katherine Bennell-Pegg, Australia’s first nationally qualified astronaut.
During this session, our students had the opportunity to hear from Katherine Bennell-Pegg, where she discussed her career pathway, how SA’s space industry has developed over time, and what the future holds for our space sector.
