The disciplines of Earth and Environmental Science and Geography provide two perspectives to explore environmental phenomena of how human activities impact on and interact with Earth’s natural resources.
Within this course, students choose to focus on either the Earth and Environmental Science, or Geography. Learning includes field work and analysis of the interactions of humans, Earth systems and our understandings of them. All students explore the topics of climate change and sustainability.
Within Geography, students also develop spatial understanding and explore social, demographic and economic change. Within the Earth and Environmental Science focus, students further learn about the science of Earth’s systems, Earth’s Resources, and the sustainable future of Earth.
